The fee calculator is for illustration purposes only. The calculation demonstrates the formulaic approach for an individual company's NAIC database filing fees in 2017. The formula multiplies a base factor of $26 per $1 million times the premium base, which is greater of the insurer's direct premiums written including annuity and other fund deposits or reinsurance assumed from non-affiliates. See the industry filing participation fees website for details on how to determine the premium base.
The minimum 2017 fee is $235 and the maximum 2017 fee is $82,746. Groups will be capped once the total individual company fees exceed $248,238.
