This year flew by and 2019 is coming to an end. We're wrapping up the year with a bow as we prepare for the Fall National Meeting in Texas. As the old saying goes, “Everything is bigger in Texas,” and we hope the meeting lives up to that standard!
We hope to see you in Austin, TX for this year's Fall National Meeting, Dec. 7 – 10. Registration for the meeting closes on November 8. If you have any questions about registration or if you need to cancel your registration, email our Meetings Department.
You're encouraged to check the program agenda on the NAIC website. You'll find the most current dates and times of meeting sessions, as well as any sessions scheduled for before or after the Fall National Meeting.
The NAIC'S Center for Insurance Policy and Research (CIPR) will host a program at Fall National Meeting, "The State of Long-Term Care Insurance.” The program is scheduled for Friday, Dec. 6, 3:30-5:30 p.m., followed immediately by a networking reception that lasts until 6:30 p.m.
As for Communications, we will have our National Meeting News update at the start of the meeting and a recap to follow days after the meeting. Health Savings Accounts Consumer Insight
Health Savings Accounts or (HSAs) are one option many consumers use to help pay for medical bills. An HSA is a savings account that allows you to set aside money on a pre-tax basis to pay for qualified medical expenses.
In the coming days, we will release a consumer insight on HSAs and some things people should consider before getting one.
