The holidays are officially here! Here are a few things we are working on that we think you should know, as 2019 comes to a close.
National Meeting
During our most recent PIO monthly call, we talked about what you can expect from the NAIC Communications Department. We have an updated PIO briefing which details all the news releases and other communications you can expect from us.
You're encouraged to check the program agenda on the NAIC website. You'll find the most current dates and times of meeting sessions, as well as any sessions scheduled for before or after the Fall National Meeting.
Many of you have requested an opportunity to meet PIOs from different state departments of insurance. We have tentatively set up a meet-greet for a drink on Sunday, Dec. 8 at 5 p.m.; a place will be determined at a later time. Please RSVP to Stefanie so that we can get an accurate headcount. For those of you coming to Austin, we hope to see you there!
We have our Fall National Meeting mobile app to download that provides the latest information at national meeting. Be sure to lookout for our emails that will include our National Meeting News which showcases photos from the meeting. We will also have our Flickr account available for you to view and download photos of your commissioner to share. We will provide details on how to access those photos during national meeting.

New PIO Resource Center
We have a new PIO Resource Center that you can soon access on our StateNet. It's an internal website on Naic.org. There you will find the most recent PIO Newsletters, monthly call briefings, marketing and communication tools and much more! Instructions on how to access the site, will come soon.
