Director Dean Cameron Participates in TII Insurance and Economic Development Forum
On December 2, 2021, NAIC President-Elect and Director of the Idaho Department of Insurance Dean Cameron participated virtually in the Taiwan Insurance Institute’s (TII) Insurance and Economic Development Forum, giving remarks on the “New Blue Ocean of the Insurance Industry After the Epidemic”. Director Cameron provided an update on key NAIC priorities for 2021 and 2022, and discussed how insurance supervisors and insurers are considering the topics of Climate Resiliency, Innovation, Artifical Intelligence/Big Data, and Diversity, Equity and Inclusion. He also highlighted the importance of bilateral dialogues and international cooperation as work continues both domestically and internationally to address these areas.
