Dr. Leroy Nunery II to Share Insight on Financial Inclusion in the Insurance Sector at NAIC DE&I Leadership Breakfast

The National Association of Insurance Commissioners’ (NAIC) Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DE&I) Leadership Breakfast takes place Saturday, March 16, 2024, from 7:30 a.m. – 9:00 a.m. MST/PDT during the organization’s 2024 Spring National Meeting in Phoenix, Arizonia. Dr. Leroy (Lee) Nunery II is an accomplished executive and entrepreneur with a unique breadth of experience formed from over 40 years in corporate banking, capital markets, and higher education. Dr. Nunery will discuss the importance of financial inclusion in the insurance sector through his presentation "Financial Inclusion: The Role of Insurance in Closing Wealth Gaps."

The DE&I Leadership Breakfast is open to virtual and in-person meeting participants. For those attending in person, please join Dr. Nunery in the Phoenix Ballroom DE -Sheraton – Level 3, in Phoenix, Arizona.

Since 2021, the DE&I Leadership team has hosted a breakfast for regulators to learn more about trending DE&I news during the NAIC National Meetings. The DE&I Leadership Breakfast opened to all registered participants starting with the 2023 Summer National Meeting.
