Steering Committee Holds Seattle Stakeholder Session to Discuss Progress and Priorities

The EU-U.S. Insurance Dialogue Project hosted a public stakeholder session on its continued progress and future priorities on June 16, 2023, in Seattle, Washington.

The EU-U.S. Insurance Dialogue Project includes representatives of the National Association of Insurance Commissioners (NAIC), the Federal Insurance Office of the U.S. Department of the Treasury (FIO), the Federal Reserve Board, the European Insurance and Occupational Pensions Authority (EIOPA), EU National Competent Authorities, and the European Commission.

About the EU-U.S. Insurance Project

The EU-U.S. Insurance Project started in 2012, when the NAIC, FIO, EC and EIOPA agreed to participate in a dialogue project with the objective of enhancing the mutual understanding and cooperation between the EU and U.S. for the benefit of insurance consumers, business opportunity and effective supervision.
