The Macroprudential Monitoring Working Group and the Macroprudential Supervision Working Group of the International Association of Insurance Supervisors (IAIS) are primarily charged with implementing the Global Monitoring Exercise (GME) and monitoring potential systemic risks in the global insurance industry. This session will provide an overview of the key processes that go into the GME, how key risk themes are identified, and the supervisory course of action taken on those risk themes.
