In 2022, State Based Systems (SBS), in partnership with the state of Connecticut, developed the SBS Payment Portal. This functionality was originally created to collect yearly assessments charged to Connecticut bail bonds licensees. After a successful rollout supporting those payments, the portal is currently being integrated with SBS invoicing to support a large variety of fee collections to eliminate payments via paper checks.
