As Chief Risk Officer for Transamerica, Pooja is responsible for assessing and advising on risks to business strategy and processes. She joined Transamerica in 2023 with over two decades of risk management, finance, and legal background in the insurance and investment industry. She has a Juris Doctor from Drake University Law School and a Master of Business Administration from the University of New Orleans. Additionally, she is a member of the Federal Reserve Board’s Insurance Policy Advisory Committee (IPAC). Outside of work, she is proud to serve on the national board of Easterseals and chairs the board’s audit committee.
