Emerging Risks: Chief Risk Officers weigh in

Moderator: Gary Anderson, Chair, NAIC International Insurance Relations (G) Committee and Commissioner, Massachusetts Division of Insurance

Insurers’ chief risk officers are charged with staying ahead of threats both large and small that could affect the company’s business and its ability to meet consumer needs. Panelists will discuss how this multi-faceted role sees trends and changes in the industry, including those on the horizon, and what “keeps them up at night.” Panelists will also discuss how the Own Risk and Solvency Assessment (ORSA) has helped both companies and supervisors understand global risks, and whether concerns such as cyber risk, changing demographics, and low interest rates can be addressed in innovative ways.
