In 2019 the Business Analysis and Quality Assurance team in Filing Solutions set out to incorporate Behavioral Driven Development into their practices. BDD is a software development methodology that encourages collaboration and teamwork throughout the development cycle, with the ultimate goal being a better understanding of the end user's needs and the creation of software that responds to those needs. BDD also lends itself nicely to test automation and allows for the entire team to understand what an automated test is verifying and the steps it's taking to do so. In this session you will learn the philosophy behind BDD and see examples of how the team has put this into practice including collaboration and strategy sessions, test execution, and reporting that is used to show code or test failures.
